Not a physics geek

Post by dfiordean »

Hi,

Just wanted to say hello...

I'm new to physics and looking around for learning some of it :) I know Bullet's contributors are 'veterans', is everybody here like me, a 'debutant'?

Well, I was looking in the last weeks over few engines out there and Bullet looks pretty handy. Stable and quite fast (as much as a debutant can appreciate). Are there any wikis or papers for starters like me to get with? I read through Chris Hacker's web sit on physics, pretty hairy :) I read here Havok is great, big manual, good support. But nobody gets it, right? I mean for playing with it...

I was also wondering, since 3D graphics is just 'solved' these days, what's next for this new physics field? It seems like the things are moving quite fast and I'll miss the train again :)

Thanks,
Dacian
