exploding rope anchors

Hello,

When connecting soft body ropes to a rigid body (using appendAnchor), I noticed that I had to set rope->m_cfg.piterations = 16; in order for the attached ropes to not explode away from their anchor points. Is there a general rule for determining a good piterations value? For example, do ropes (or soft bodies in general) with fewer nodes or with a lower mass need a higher or lower piteration value? Or is piterations just something that you tweak until you get the results that you like?
