Hello!
I did some searching on the net for an existing table of basic physic material properties like friction, restitution, etc..., but no luck for now. What I'm looking for, is a data sheet for generic materials like metal, wood, concrete, plastic, etc... I don't really need "actuall" numbers, just relations between them, ie: wood has 0.2 friction, while concrete has 0.5, etc...
tnx in advance
material properties table

Hi,
here you can find some coefficients of friction:
http://www.roymech.co.uk/Useful_Tables/ ... _frict.htm
and some coefficients of restitution:
http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2006/restitution.shtml
Hope that helps,
Jan

I guess the other property you need is density.
There is a nice table of densities in Wikipedia:
