Blocks: The Devilish Delivery Game

Blocks is a game we've been making at Darkwind Media for a while. We had a prototype a few months ago and decided to turn it into a full, published game. We used our own in-house engine using Ogre3D and Bullet.

Blocks is a game of dexterity and quick reactions. You need to have fast reflexes but an even hand to guide the crate to the island. Off-center forces from the thrusters push the platform and the crate back and forth so it's definitely a challenge getting to the end of each level.

You can see a trailer on our site as well as download the current demo version. The demo includes twenty levels (there will be many more in the final version).

The demo includes tutorials and 10 levels from the standard progression we have planned for the final game. The rest of the levels are selected with various difficulties, so around level 11 the difficulty progression starts jumping around. We just wanted to give people a full taste of the different levels you can come up against in the full version. Have fun and let us know what you think!
