Co-ops or contractors for 3D physics simulation at AMD

Post by saggita »

I am looking for co-ops or contractors for 3D physics simulation engineering at AMD.

Fluid simulation
1. Must have a solid background on Eulerian and Lagrangian approaches
2. Good understanding on two way interaction between fluid and rigid bodies
3. Surface reconstruction from particles such as anisotrophic approach
4. Should be able to implement latest fluid simulation based on published papers
5. GPGPU (OpenCL or CUDA) experience is highly desirable
6. C++ and object oriented programming
7. Cross platform development, CMake, build server, Maya plugin and python are good
7. UI/framework experience such as Qt or Image Engine's Gaffer is a good bonus

Rigidbody simulation
1. Will be working on Bullet so should be familiar with it
2. Expected to have an expertise in at least one of these areas: accurate collision detection or constraint solver
3. SSE/AVX or parallel process (CPU/GPU)

The office is located in Sunnyvale California USA and working onsite is preferable. Remote working will be considered based on the level of experience.

If you are interested, please send the email to dongsoo.han at amd dot com

To be clear, fluid and rigidbody simulation positions are separate. So you don't need to meet the requirement for both.

And I encourage Ph.D students to apply for co-ops. This work may require some type of research.

Finally, I will be more flexible with location.
